Bhubaneswar, Mar 16: In regards to a recent murder that happened yesterday evening at Tamando, where five person were accused of shooting a youth Abhijit Behera of Behera Sahi to death, the Commissionerate police today has arrested three persons in link with the murder. The police have arrested the parents and one relative of the accused Bishnu Patnaik for allegedly influencing him to shoot the youth. While the assailants Bishnu and his brother are yet to be caught.
Notably, in a tragic incident, a youth identifies as Abhijit Behera aka Sipu, belonging to Behere Sahi in Tamando was shot dead last evening by at least five persons from a close range. The deceased was soon rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but he died while undergoing treatment. The police suspect the murder as an outcome of a past enmity as the accused who are on a run, notably had an argument with the deceased on the Holi day, and later went to to fight, but was soon compromised in the presence of the locals.
