Tangi: In a shocking incident, one killed after being brutally attacked with a sword by a miscreant. The chilling incident took place in Jaripada Pani Duara village under Tangi police station in Khorda district. The deceased has been identified as Arabinda Behera from Sagara Dihi area.
Reportedly Arabinda was attacked while returning home last night. He sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the Community Health Centre in a blood-soaked condition. However, he was declared dead by the doctor. According to information, the miscreant attacked the deceased over previous enmity.
The attacker fled the scene after the incident. The Tangi police have reached the spot, seized the body, and started an investigation.
