Balasore, Jan 7: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) today successfully tested the Arjun tank with a tank-to-tank firing at Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE) in Chandipur Integrated Test Range (ITR). The test was conducted in two phases.
In the first of its kind test in the country, the ammunition was fired from the indigenously developed main battle tank (MBT) Arjun to Russian T55 tank.
The Arjun tanks was inducted into the Indian Army in 2004.
