Team India 69/0 in the second innings
Team India scored 69 runs without losing a wicket in the second innings of the second test against New Zealand. The Indian team is currently leading by 332 runs. Mayank Agarwal is on 38 and Cheteshwar Pujara remains unbeaten on 29 runs. Both had dominated the New Zealand bowlers on the pitch where the visitors were bundled out for 62 in their first innings.
Shubman Gill got injured while fielding. That is why he did not come to open the innings. Cheteshwar Pujara came in his place to open with Mayank Agarwal.
Ravichandran Ashwin was the most successful bowler for India. He has taken 4 wickets giving 8 runs only. So far, he has taken 423 wickets and surpassed the record of former South African fast bowler Shaun Pollock (421).
Besides, Mohammed Siraj took three wickets while Axar Patel picked two and Jayant Yadav got one.
