Toshali national crafts fair kick starts

Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: The two-week long Toshali National Crafts Mela kick started at Janata Maidan in State capital on Tuesday this year bringing the handloom and handicraft products from across the country in one place.

Around 400 stalls have been opened at the national fair, organised by the State Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department.

Different government sectors and educational institutions have also opened their stalls at the fair which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

To entertain the visitors, arrangement have been made for cultural programmes at the venue.

This year, national level singers like Sona Mohapatra, Krishna Beura and Indian Idol junior winner Ananya Sritam Nanda are scheduled to perform at the venue.
