Paradip: November 19: Police arrested Congress leader Arindam Sarkhel alias Bapi on Friday for his alleged involvement in the murder of a senior level officer of a Hyderabad-based stevedoring company.
A lookout circular was issued against him and accordingly, he surrendered before Raghunathpur Police Station earlier in the day. Further,he was produced before Kujang JMFC court after his arrest and was sent to 14-day judicial custody as his bail plea was rejected.
