Bhubaneswar, Nov 3: The transgender in Odisha will be covered under National Food Security Act (NFSA).
The move comes after Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) directed the government to include the third genders into the central scheme.
The government has decided to distribute as many as 14,000 ration cards to the third gender community under the scheme.
