Bhubaneswar, Nov 14: To mark the birth centenary of former chief minister Biju Patnaik, BJD has decided to organize a special event in New Delhi which is likely to be held on Nov 20.
As per sources, along with State chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Mohammad Hamid Ansari, Vice-President of India will also attend the programme.
Apart from that, MLAs, BJD MPs and Odias in New Delhi would also join the function.
During the programme, the odias who all have archived excellence in various fields will be felicitated, sources said.
It may be recalled that, BJD had organized a similar programme in Bengaluru and HD Deva Gowda, Former Prime Minister of India attended the function.
