New Delhi: August 14: Twitter unlocked the official handles of Rahul Gandhi and the Indian National Congress.
Earlier Twitter has locked the twitter account of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, Randeep Singh Surjewala and 4 of its other senior leaders including Ajay Maken and cited the violation of its policies in doing so.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi posted a statement on the issue on Instagram on Thurs day. He said, “They can lock us out of a platform but they can’t lock out our voice for the sake of the people.”
Twitter on Saturday unlocks the official handles of the Indian National Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi.
Shortly after the Twitter handle of Congress was unlocked, the grand old party tweeted ‘Satyameva Jayate’, to mark its comeback.
Rahul Gandhi met the parents of the nine-year-old girl who was allegedly raped, murdered and forcibly cremated in Delhi Catt on 4th August.
Further, he shared a picture of the meeting and tweeted in Hindi, “Parents’ tears are saying only one thing — their daughter, the daughter of this country, deserves justice. And I am with them on this path to justice.”
Rahul Gandhi’s account was then temporarily “locked” by Twitter.
