Jajpur, Aug 23: Today a person named, Debashish Deb was taken into custody by the Police as he had imitated the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Cuttack district and another one who became his personal assistant (PA) was also taken behind bars.
Das by impersonating the ADM arrived at the Jakhapura police station in a car displaying a red beacon to sought help from the authority. He requested them to visit the Maithan steel plant at Kalinganagar. He managed to convince the cops to visit the plant. But suspicion started to rise on the part of the police authorities at the plant site watching Das’ activities. Thereby, the cop arrested the two imitators there also seizing some fake documents from them.
It’s stated that Debashish is a resident of Jagatsinghpur, having a B Tech degree. He was staying in Bhubaneswar whereas his helper is an employee of Grade-IV. On hiring a car from a travel agency, the duo have visit various places since August 19. However, the motive of the duo high-profile fraudsters would be revealed only after investigation.
