Two more Maoists death in the encounter yesterday in Malkangiri, Odisha

Malkangiri, Oct 28: Yesterday in Panasput forest in the district around two more Maoists were killed by the security forces in the encounter. It’s stated that the rebels were hiding deep inside the forest. Knowing the fact that the forces are approaching towards them they started to fire. As a result, the security personnel in retaliation exchanged fire which led to the death of two ultras on the spot. On the encounter, the forces have seized some weapons and Maoists publications from them.

The locals informed the police that since Monday when the anti-Maoist operation has begun, six villagers belonging to Jodamba here have been missing. They further informed that the villagers had handpicked six villagers which included three women on Sunday night to prepare meals for them. But those three women have not returned home since then. The police assured that they are looking into the matter.

In this Andhra Pardesh and Odisha encounter initially 24 Rebels were killed in the ambush. Two days after the ambush, four more Maoists were gunned down making the death toll to 28.
