Bhubaneswar, Oct 29: Two persons hailing from Beguniabasta in Puri district were arrested by the Twin City Commissionerate police on Thursday for their alleged complicity in a robbery case in the capital city.
As per reports, on intervening nights of October 22 and 23 night, the accused Nalu Swain entered into the house of complainant Zarina Khatun at AIIMs road here by breaking the window and committed the robbery. Police further said that the accused also outraged the modesty of the complainant.
After the robbery, Nalu sold the articles to a person named Dibakar Swain. Dibakar was also arrested by the police.
Police seized two gold chains, Rs 9000 and two mobile phones from their possession.
Following his arrest, the police forwarded Nalu Swain to court on Friday
