UCO Bank loot case: arrested duo brought to Odisha from Bihar on transit remand for interrogation

Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Today the two arrested accused involved the UCO Bank loot were brought from Bihar to Odisha on transit remand for interrogation by the Twin City Commissionerate police.

The Vaishali CJM court in Bihar gave the allowance to the Commissionerate Police to take the duo on a 7-day transit remand. The names of the accused duo are as Bhagwat Thakur who is a truck driver and Vijay Shah. They both are being questioned at an undisclosed location here. They had fled from Khurda on a truck after the robbery.

Notably, the accused were arrested from Bihar on Tuesday. While one of them was arrested from Patna, another was nabbed from Begusarai area in Bihar.
