Bhubaneswar, Oct 3: Revealing some new information about the looters involved in the Bapuji Nagar UCO bank loot incident, YB Khurania, commissioner of Police said that the looters are the eastern states’ five most wanted criminals.
Around 20 bank loot cases in Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand, has been registered in their names and in Odisha seven cases are registered against them, Khurania informed media people. No further information can be revealed now as the case is at a crucial stage, he said.
Notably, On September 28, five armed miscreants had looted over Rs 13 lakh and gold ornaments weighing around one kg from UCO bank’s Bapuji Nagar branch in Bhubaneswar.
