NIF to promote KISS students to make them entrepreneur:

Bhubaneswar: May 29: 30 students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) will be promoted by National Innovation Foundation (NIF), India, an autonomous body of the department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to make them entrepreneur and to set up Start-up Company by every individual. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between KIIT University and NIF on Saturday. On this occasion Prof Anil Gupta, Executive Vice Chairman, NIF said, the aim of NIF is to promote innovators from grass root level. Many youths having no formal education have innovative ideas in our country. Their innovative ideas and traditional technology can be utilized for the betterment of the society.

Mapping mind of every single child and explore the mind of tribal children should be done. As a result, we can find such kind of grass root innovators, said Prof Gupta. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder, KIIT & KISS said, KIIT University gives more importance on research and innovation. The University always promotes young innovators with unique innovative ideas and technology, he added. Among others Prof. P. P. Mathur, VC, KIIT University; Dr. Ajit Patnaik, PCCF, Odisha; Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar, Director KSBT, and CEO, KIIT TBI were present on this occasion. During this occasion NIF, Bhubaneswar Cell was inaugurated in KIIT TBI premises.
