Bhubaneswar, Jan 8: Union Minister of State for Finance Jayanta Sinha will arrive in Odisha on Friday on a two-day visit.
He will meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat at 5 pm today.
During his visit he will attend a meeting of higher authorities of several banks and review the progress and implementation of various schemes like Jandhan Yojana and Mudra Bank initiated by the NDA Government at the Centre.
He will also meet State Finance Minister Pradip Amat and other senior Finance Department officials at the State Secretariat.
The Union Minister is scheduled to discuss the proper utilization of Central funds with the State Finance Minister.
He is also scheduled to attend a press conference at the State capital to highlight the Congress’s ruckus stalling the proceeding of the Parliament.
