Kabul: An unidentified military plane has targeted a Taliban hideout in Panjshir province of Afghanistan. The day after the Taliban claimed responsibility for the complete occupation of Afghanistan’s Panjshir province, an unidentified military plane targeted a Taliban hideout in Panjshir province. No casualties were reported.
The Taliban had claimed that they have won the battle of Panjshir yesterday. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said Panjshir, the only province inside Afghanistan not under Taliban control, was now in complete control of the Taliban. Many members of the rebel group have been killed and many more have fled.
The rebel force, the NRF (National Resistance Front of Afghanistan) lead by Ahmad Massoud, however, refuted the Taliban’s claim. A close ally of former Vice President Amarullah Saleh said the Taliban’s claim was completely false. The Taliban has used Pakistani helicopters for Operation against us. But the fight against the Taliban continues and will continue to do so, he said. “The Taliban is cooperating with Pakistan,” said Ahmed Masood, the leader of the rebel NRF. The Taliban is not capable of attacking Panjshir. Pakistan is cooperating with the Taliban by drones and helicopters.
