New York: The United States, Russia and Iran may work together on Syrian crisis that has been a concern for the United Nations.
This was clear after US President Barack Obama on Monday said that the country does not want to get involved in a cold war with its major rival Russia over Ukraine issue.
Addressing the United Nations general assembly just ahead of his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York this evening, Obama said that the US is prepared to work with any nation including Russia and Iran to resolve the ongoing conflict in Syria where the ISIS outfit is playing with blood.
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin also urged the world powers to back Syrian government led by President Bashar al-Assad in the fight against the ISIS.
