Vedanta Chairman declares setting up of government medical college worth Rs 100cr at Kalahandi

Bhubaneswar, Aug 31: With the financial assistance of Rs 100 crore from Vedanta Group, Kalahandi district will get a government medical college which will be build up by the State government. The people of Kalahandi will get better health facilities after this hospital. The assistance will be provided for the college’s infrastructural development.  

This was informed by the Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik after a meeting was held with Anil Agarwal, Vedanta Group Chairman.

Vedanta Group has being doing many CSR activists for the people of Kalahandi and will do even more for the district, informed Agarwal.
