Bhubaneswar, July 11: The Khurda District and Sessions Court here today kept its verdict reserved on the bail pleas of Odisha comedy artist Papu Pom Pom and his aide Pradip Swain.
It is expected that the court’s order on the bail application will be announced later.
According to the Sources, the casting couch minor girl victim’s parents were also present in the court. But they had refused to say anything about the compromise petition filed by them last week in the court.
Papu Pom Pom has been charged under sections 354(A), 506, 509 of the IPC and sections 8, 12 and 17 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
