Puri, Sept 23: On charges of amassing disproportionate assets, houses and office belonging to Puri Jail Superintendent Karna Pradhan’s were raided simultaneously by Odisha Vigilance officials today.
The raids were conducted at five places that include his government quarters and house at Matipada, Puri, parental house at Junei in Konark and a house at Nayapalli in Bhubaneswar.
During the raid, the vigilance officials seized Rs 1 lakh cash, bank passbooks and many important documents from Karna’s official quarters located on the premises of the jail.
