Bhubaneswar: October 04: Vigilance officials today arrested an Executive engineer, working in Public Works Department (PWD) at Koraput district while taking bribe to clear a bill of a contractor.
Engineer Gopal Chandra Nayak was making a deal of Rs 2 lakh to clear the pending bill of the contractor in a hotel at Koraput. The anti-graft agency raided the hotel and seized over Rs 1 lakh from his possession. Investigation is on onto the matter.
