Balasore, Aug 17: On the basis of the allegation of disproportionate assets, four teams headed by Vigilance DSP Madhusudhan Behera, raided the houses of Bhabani Shankar Panigrahi, junior engineer of Subarnarekha Irrigation Projects on Wednesday.
During the simultaneous raids, the Vigilance officials raided Panigrahi’s four places, including his ancestral house at Jambeswar, his own house at Jambeswar, Chhunabhati, his in-laws house at Sahupada in Balasore and Jambira canal office of the irrigation project at Morada, Mayurbhanjh.
During this search operation, vigilance sleuths seized land Pattas, bank passbooks, gold ornaments, fixed deposits related documents and bond papers related to insurance.
