Jagatsinghpur, Oct 30:In an attempt to commit suicide, a married woman identified as Manorama Sethi sustained critical injuries after setting herself on fire in Deriki village in Jagatsinghpur district today.
Reportedly, before setting herself on fire, Manorama poured kerosene on her body after which she was admitted to the district headquarters hospital here in a critical condition. Later, she was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack as her condition deteriorated.
As per sources, due to a dispute within the family, Manorama attempted to commit suicide.
