Berhampur, April 9: A woman from Gandhinagar area here has filed a rape case against the arrested ex-Congress MLA Ramesh Jena.
In her complaint she alleged that the former legislator raped her repeatedly since 2013.
The victim, a widow, said her plight began after the death of her husband was ran a transport business and a liquor shop.
Jena on the pretext of helping her barged into her house with an associate and raped her.
He also allegedly filmed the act, she said in her complaint.
She said initially she was scared, but mustered courage when found that action is being taken against the former MLA.
Ganjam SP Ashish Singh said a case has been registered against Jena.
