Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: Issue of removing women’s black stoles and shawls in Sundargarh, created a ruckus today here at the State assembly.

The moment the house assembles for the day, opposition BJP and congress members were seen rushing to the well shouting slogans and demanding Naveen’s apology over the incident, where women participants at the CM’s meet at Sundargarh on Sunday were forced to remove their black colored stoles and shawls before entering.

Interestingly, Congress Chief Bahinipati stood on the chair and again tried snatching speaker’s microphone. Unable to control the house, Speaker Pujari adjourned the Assembly till 3 PM.

Notably, the security agencies in charge of CM’s event at Mangaspur in Sundargarh on 4th of December, forced the women participants to take off their black colored stoles, shawls and coats/jackets before entering the meeting venue. The incident happened in presence of BJD workers, which no one questioned off.
