Bhubaneswar, April 8: Three institutions of the SOA University jointly observed the World Health Day taking out an awareness rally and organising a seminar on Depression, the theme of this years WHO sponsored program, here on Friday.
The rally was attended by students, faculty and professors of the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, Institute of Dental Sciences and SUM Nursing College. A quiz was also held on the occasion focused on the theme of the World Health Day.
Dean of IMS, Prof. Gangadhar Sahu, Medical Superintendent of SUM Hospital, Dr. Pushparaj Samantasinhar, Head of department of Psychiatry Dr. Surjeet Sahoo and Head of the department of Community Medicine, Prof. Trilochan Sahu, among others, spoke on the occasion.
