Rourkela, Oct 22: Yesterday in the late night hours the youth was reported to be dead after fighting from his injuries at the Ispat General Hospital. He had been shot by three unidentified miscreants last night here.
It’s stated that the three shooters came on a bike and shot Ashish Agrawal from behind. The incident happened in front of City Super Bazar under Udit Nagar police limits at around 9.30 pm. The victim stayed in a lane near the City Super Bazaar. Later the culprits escaped from the area. The locals immediately took the victim to IGH. Although the reason behind this incident is yet to be ascertained, it’s said that the reason is business rivalry.
The police has registered a case under section 302 and 34 of IPC and section 25 of Arms Act and has begun investigation.
