New Delhi: YSRCP leader V Vijaysai Reddy has resigned as a member of the Rajya Sabha citing personal reasons. He met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and submitted his resignation.

The resignation is likely to help the NDA in securing the seat from Andhra Pradesh as the TDP and Jan Kalyan Party are in majority there and in a position to get one of their choice elected to the upper house.
