Maryappan & Sharad Add Two More Medals To India’s Bucket At The Tokyo Paralympic
New Delhi, September 1: Dedicatedly, August will be remembered as a month of pride for quite sometime now. Indian athletes after the Tokyo Olympics have now been showcasing their flair at the Tokyo Paralympic 2020. For the first time ever in the history of Paralympic Games, till date, India has won 10 medals in all categories.
Yesterday, on the seventh day of the Paralympic day, India started off quite well. After, India’s 39-year-old shooter, Singhraj Adhana, won the bronze medal for India in the final of the 10m Air Pistol SH1, Mariyappan made his highest jump of 1.86 metres. At the same time, Sharad jumped 1.83 meters. Sam Grave of America won the gold medal with a jump of 1.88m.
