Bhubaneswar: One thousand buses will ply to Puri on the occasion of the world famous Rath Yatra, informed Odisha Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur on Friday.
As per reports, the Transport Commissioner said that one thousand buses will ply to the Puri dham on Rath Yatra 2025.
All these buses will have drinking water as well as fast aid medical facilities for the passengers. Besides, checking squad and CCTV system will also be there in the buses to prevent overcrowding and theft in buses.
Apart from that wheelchair and e-rickshaw facilities will also be there for the differently abled and senior citizens at the bus stand – the Transport Commissioner informed.
As per reports, a joint meeting of the Transport Commissioner, State Private Bus Owners Association and Puri District SP has been held in this regard.
