Bhubaneswar: In a big news for job seekers in Odisha it has been learnt that 10,000 posts will be filled in the Home department of the State soon. Besides, 5000 Home Guards will also be appointed. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced this on Thursday.
As per reports, CM Mohan Charan Majhi has said that appointments will be made in the Home department soon. As many as 10,000 posts will be filled in the Home department. As of now some of these posts are vacant while some more posts will be created.
Similarly, 5,000 posts of Home Guards will be filled in the State. Previously, there were 2,416 Home Guard posts. The Mohan Majhi Double Engine BJP government is going to increase this to 5,000, the CM informed.
Moreover, the government has decided to increase the financial assistance amount for Home Guards in order to strengthen their financial condition.
Reportedly, CM Mohan Majhi has issued directives to fill these posts immediately.
