Bhubaneswar: May 09: Odisha reported 10,635 fresh Covid Positive cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 6012 people were in quarantine and rest 4,623 are from local contact cases.
1564 new cases were found from Khurda district only, which is highest among districts.
9 districts have reported more than 400 case each. Those are Khurda (1564), Sundergarh (943), Cuttack (887), Sambalpur (643), Angul (559), Kalahandi (469), Jharsuguda (456), Bargarh (443) and Puri (434).
4 districts recorded more than 300 cases each & 3 districts have more than 200 cases each.
12 districts registered more than 100 cases each and only 2 districts reported below 100 cases i.e. Malkangiri (79) and Kandhamal (73) in last 24 hours.
In last 24 hours, 7,664 persons recovered from the disease and total recoveries reached 4,39,322.
At present, 93,287 cases are active in State.
