Bhubaneswar: September 11: Odisha reported 3,996 fresh COVID-19 Cases in 24 hours. Out of this, 2,359 persons were in quarantine and rest 1,637 are local contact cases. With this, total cases in Odisha increased to 1,43,117.
According to Health & Family Welfare Department, Khurda district recorded 606 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 354 cases, Puri 279 cases, Balasore 209 cases, Mayurbhanj 160 cases, Nabarangpur 151 cases, Angul 138 cases, Kendrapara 130 cases, Bolangir 124 cases, Jagatsinghpur 122 cases, Jajpur 119 cases, Bhadrak 112 cases, Rayagada 105 cases, Nuapada 103 cases and 206 cases from State Pool.
Also, Bargarh District registered 97 case, Koraput 93 cases, Sambalpur & Sonepur (91 cases each), Ganjam 89 cases, Sundergarh 88 cases, Dhenkanal 87 cases, Jharsuguda 79 cases, Nayagarh 77 cases, Keonjhar 60 cases, Kalahandi 58 cases, Kandhamal & Malkangiri (47 cases each), Boudh 39 cases, Gajapati 25 cases and Deogarh 10 cases.
As per the information of H & FW Website, 1,08,001 patients have recovered from the infection so far.
In last 24 hours, 14 persons have died due to COVID-19 and with this, the total death toll in the State rose to 605.
At present, 34,458 patients are under treatment.
