Angul, Nov 17: On Wednesday night at the Charibati chhak under Chendipada police limits here, two people died on the spot itself and two other got critically injured when a police van of the Kundeigola police station clashed with two bikes.
The two person were Bhagi Nayak of Patakmunda village and Uday Nayak of Sangapala village. It’s stated the incident happened at 9 pm when the police van was heading towards Chendipada.
The injured persons were immediately taken to the Chendipada hospital. Outraged locals staged road blockade on the Deogarh-Angul road for which transportation was stopped. Once after the cops intervened in the matter, the locals took back their strike.
