2 die and a total of 60 passengers injured as two busses met with accident in Pune, Maharashtra and in Balsore, Odisha on Friday night

Bhubaneswar/Balasore, Nov 12: On Friday night two passengers named Prafulla Sahu aged 45 belonging to Kuninda village in Jajpur and Mamata Mishra aged 42 belonging to Debgarh district died and at least 40 others sustained injuries when a tourist bus, in which they were travelling, from Odisha overturned near Pune in Maharastra. The locals there immediately admitted the injured passengers to hospitals in Pune and Goregaon. It’s stated that the incident happened around 10.30 pm when one of the two tourist bus lost control and turned turtle. Both the buses were from Odisha. The buses were coming from Bhimsankar temple located in Junnar Taluka, Pune. This ill-fated bus was carrying around 45 tourists.

In another tragic accident, 20 passengers got injured as the bus in which they were travelling met with an accident near Naharpatna Bridge on National Highway-5 here late last night. Immediately all the victims were admitted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) here. It’s stated that the incident happened around 1 am when a speeding Haiwa barged into the bus head on. On getting information, police reached the spot and seized both the vehicles. An injured passenger, Bichitra Behera informed that the name of the ill-fated bus was Swayam Shubham and it was carrying around 40 passengers. All of a sudden the Haiwa collided with the bus on the over bridge.
