Bhubaneswar: April 23: India has 21700 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases till date i.e.23rd April’2020 and the death tally stands at 686, according to the latest data released by Health Ministry.
4324 patients have recovered from the disease and 16689 active cases are there in the country.
Total number of cases in Maharashtra rose to 5652, followed by Gujarat (2407 ), Delhi (2248), Rajasthan(1890), Tamilnadu (1629), Madhya Pradesh(1695), Uttar Pradesh (1509) and Telengana with 960 COVID-19 patients.
In last 24 hours, atleast 1409 positive cases and 34 deaths were reported.
Andra Pradesh has 895 confirmed covid-19 cases whereas Karnataka and Kerala have 443 and 438 cases respectively.
No new cases of COVID-19 have been reported from 78 districts in last 14 days.
