Puri, Aug 19: To review the tidal ingress that has engulfed some chunks of the Puri beach in the pilgrim town, an expert team from IIT, Madras on Friday visited the Puri sea beach.
According to information, the team headed by Subhadra Bibhelu visited the sea beach and Mangala river mouth to review the situation there. Artatrana Sahoo, Kadir Rawan and Water Resource Secretary, Pradip Jena accompanied Bibhelu along with other team members.
Notably, a three-member team of the Department of Geology of the Utkal University had visited Puri on Thursday to review the situation.
