To pay respect to Uri Martyrs, CM will not celebrate his birthday

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15:  To pay respect to the Uri martyrs, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has decided not to celebrate his birthday tomorrow.

All workers of the Biju Janta Dal (BJD) have been asked not to come to Chief Minister’s residence Naveen Niwas tomorrow, sources informed.

It may be noted that, in the years 2011, 2013 and 2014 Chief Minister did not celebrate his birthday as the State was affected by floods, cyclone Phailin and Hudhud.

Besides, last year in 2015, due to the explosion of a gas balloon, around 11 students sustained burn injuries, who had come to wish the Chief Minister near his residence on the occasion of his birthday.
