As the locals saw an elder man with the five-year-old girl in a suspicious state on Sunday in the Harirajpur area, they nabbed him and handed him over to the police.

The abductor confessed to his crime after his arrest and said that he used to kidnap children and engage them in begging activities.

It may be noted that in another kidnapping case in Jatni earlier, Bhoi had been arrested by the police and sent to jail on June 11 but after his release from the jail on bail, Bhoi again started his earlier business.
