Bhubaneswar, Nov 12: With the recent monitory announcement made by the PM, for the convenience of the citizens, the Post Office department, Government of India has decided to keep their office open in all stated including Odisha on Sunday.
The Postmaster General (PMG) of Odisha Circle informed the media that required instructions regarding the same have been given to all post offices in the district so that citizens find it easy to exchange the invalid denomination notes with the new ones. He further informed that the customers who have their accounts in post offices can carry out the exchange policy and also deposit the invalid currencies in their respective postal accounts as well.
Even banks have decided to do the same on Sunday keeping in mind the urgency and convenience of the people.
