Puri, Nov 25: Yesterday evening a lady tourist from Japan named Ayota Ottami filed an FIR at the Puri Sadar police station, allegedly complaining that her cell phone and cash worth Rs 25,000 were stolen from her bag kept at the Beleswar beach while she was taking a bath in the sea, by some unidentified looters.
She had come with her male friend of California, USA to lodge the complaint. It’s stated that the lasy tourist was residing with her California friend, Edward Beach at the Panchakarma Guest House in the city road in Puri. On getting the information, the police will investigate into the incident as said by the IIC of Puri Sadar, PS, Gourang Charan Prusty.
