Pandit Jasraj to perform at IG Park on Dec 17 from 6 pm in state capital


Bhubaneswar, Dec 8: An evening that would bring in a beautiful essence of music among all the music overs out here on Dec 17 when eminent Hindustani Classical Singer, Padma Vibhusan Pandit Jasraj will be gracing the stage at the Indira Gandhi Park at 6 pm. He will be performing as a part of the ‘Music in the Park’ programme organised that is jointly organized by the SPIC MACAY and the Bhubaneswar Development Authority. Also, Pandit Sougata Banerjee and Tabla maestro, Pandit Ramkumar Mishra will be performing programme.

Notably, the SPIC MACAY has been arranging such splendid shows all over India since 1977 just to build in the interest of people especially the youth and students into Indian culture and tradition. Internationally acclaimed flautist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Sitar player Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan have performed earlier on similar music events organised by the SPIC MACAY at the Indira Gandhi Park here.
