Anandpur, Jan 16: Yesterday afternoon, two constables died in a road accident at the Pauchia Chhak near Harichandanpur in Keonjhar district. The name of the late constables were Alokjyoti Das (32) of Sampatna village and Sushant Nayak (26) of Pandapada village.
The accident happened at about 4.30 pm. The two deceased constables of Odisha Armed Police Force (OAPF) posted at Keonjhar Reserve Police were on duty at Ghatagan police station that time. It happened when the two were coming back to Ghatagan from Harichandanpur on a bike. All of a sudden the bike went out of control at Pauchia Chhak and hit a roadside tree killing both of them on the spot. After getting information, the Ghatagan Police immediately reached the accident area and took the bodies for post-mortem.
