Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: India’s star batsman Yuvraj Singh, who brought smiles on the faces of his fans, on 19th January at Barbati Stadium, Cuttack, after playing a massive innings, today has again brought smiles on faces of some kids, who are cursed with cancer and autism.
Yuvi today met several kids suffering with the disease at the Hotel Mayfair in the capital, in Odisha early today. India’s former international cricketers Debashish Mohanty and Shiv Sundar Das of Odisha organised the meeting with Yuvi. The children, who are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Cuttack, were inspired and cheered up after spending time with Yuvraj.
To be note, Yuvi, who himself is a cancer survivor, was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in his left lung in 2012. But after rigorous treatment and chemotheraphy at the Cancer research Institute in Boston, and Medicine facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was discharged of the hospital after his chemo cycle, after he got well.
