Puri, Feb22: The famous Puri Mahaprasad of the Lord Jagannath temple will now go through quality checks before sold to devotees. In this regard, the Puri Temple Administration with discussions with the Food Safety Commissioner has decided to appoint a food inspector to take the task.
After the raising complaints from devotees about the low standard food, that is sold to the devotees, the Administration in discussion with the Suar Nijogs and Food Safety Commissioner, took the decision.
If this can be done, the quality of food will increase and unhygienic conditions can also be checked, said a servitor.
