Bhubaneswar, Mar 1: In a function held today at the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, the National Health Mission along with the State government, chaired by Hon’ble Minister of State H & FW Dept. Govt of Odisha Sri Pradeep Kumar Amat, inaugurated the DOTS (directly observed treatment, short-course) strategy of Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP) at the District TB Centre in Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. They also launched various medicines for the treatment.
The function was also attended by other senior members of the Directorate of health Services, Odisha like Dr Pramod Kumar Meherda, IAS, Commissioner – Cum – Secretary, Dr Kailash Chandra Dash, Director Of Health Services,Odisha and Sri Ajit Kumar Mishra, OAS.
