Rainfall with thunderbolts to occur in North Odisha; MeT Office

Bhubaneswar, Mar 2: Moderate to dense fog prevailed over some parts of Coastal Odisha. Weather has been dry over Odisha. Maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha.  They were appreciably above normal over North Interior Odisha, above normal over South Interior Odisha and normal over Coastal Odisha. Minimum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were below normal over South Interior Odisha and normal over rest Odisha.

Having a clear sky with a moderate fog in the morning, Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 37 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius respectively on Friday.

The relative humidity will be 96 percent at its maximum and 26 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On Friday and Saturday, weather to be dry in Odisha with a moderate to dense fog in Coastal Odisha and also an increase in the day temperature. On Monday and Tuesday, rainfall likely to occur in one or two places of North Odisha along with a thunder squall activity. As per the weather forecasters, thunder squall activity accompanied with rain would continue.

For the farmers, weather to be sunny in parts of Odisha with an increase in day temperatures. The highest maximum temperature of 38.20C was recorded Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 12.40C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
