Bhubaneswar/Cuttack, Mar 8: Alleging the growing political interference in educational institutions, the state BJP youth wing will today stage demonstrate in front of all universities of the state. The situation was an outcome of Ravenshaw VC’s resignation over student unrest in the campus.
They party alleged that the ruling BJD is interfering in the academic matter of the university, as some students who are supported by the the Biju Chatra Janata Dal are being influenced by two local MLAs Prabhat Biswal & Debasis Samantray. They also allege that the Vice chancellor of Ravenshaw was forceful tuned to dance as per them.
However, taking Prabhat Biswal refused of all allegations and said “the state BJP is politicising the matter nothing else. The VC & staffs at the University know me very well & my attempts for development of the university”.
