Another farmer commits suicide, succumbs to death while under treatment

Bhubaneswar, Mar 8: Farmers’ suicide continue in Odisha as one more farmer from Nabarangpur allegedly commit suicide over crop loss & debt burden.

Identified as Siba Bhadra of Sanamisi village, the farmer consumed pesticide on March 3rd and was hospitalised. He succumbed to death yesterday while undergoing treatment at the Nabarangpur DHH, said sources.

Siba was going through a bad period and was in a lot of metal stress following crop loss and debt burden, claims his wife Sanadi Bhadra. On the other hand OPCC president Pradeep Mahi has demanded a compensation Rs 10,00,000  for the family of the deceased to the state government.
